Meet Bill Matheson Owner, 605 Designs
Q: In addition to your job title, tell us a little bit about what you do / what your company does.
I am the owner of and sole designer for 605 Designs. 605 Designs specializes in residential designs with scopes of work that includes planting plans, patios and retaining walls, fire-pits and outdoor kitchens, swimming pools and spas and landscape lighting designs.
Q: What made you decide to join Salem Station?
The location is within a 15 minute walk of my house near downtown Apex. I was also interested in being a part of a new and exciting business concept in my home town and wanted to support Salem Station any way I could.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Salem Station?
The location is right in the middle of downtown which means lots of activity, restaurants, shops and people. Also, the other business professionals who work in the Salem Station are all happy, friendly, engaging people.
Q: What are your favorite tech tools to get your job done or keep your life organized?
I use a professional 2D / 3D design software to produce landscape / hardscape / lighting plans for all of my clients. I also use a CRM called Honeybook which helps me organize all of my clients project information such as: contact info, emails, project photos, plans, design videos, contracts and other project related documents.
Q: What is the last show you binge watched?
I really don’t watch TV. Although last weekend I did watch 3-4 hoursof the PGA golf tournament! Does that count?
Q: What is one thing you cannot live without?
Oxygen, water & food? Also, life would be quite unenjoyable without my wife, my family and my dog!
Q: What is your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Fishing at the lake or beach, gardening in my backyard, cooking / grilling.
